The following patch (relative to the version on the CD) should fix it: diff /sys/src/cmd/acme/rows.l `{yesterday /sys/src/cmd/acme/rows.l} 626c626 < sprint(buf, "/tmp/d%d.%.4sacme", getpid(), getuser()); --- > sprint(buf, "/tmp/D%d.%.4sacme", getpid(), getuser()); The problem was that Disk.init() and Row.load() were, under certain circumstances, using the same filename for their temporary files. This change ensures that it cannot happen.
